DMA Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG (DMA), Schwarte Processing, Hänsel Processing and Hebold Systems, four companies that were previously part of the Possehl Mittelstandsbeteiligungen business unit, together with HF Press+LipidTech, will be merged together to form a new business unit called HF FoodTech Group.
The new unit will be managed under the umbrella of Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH, therefore resulting in a third division called HF FoodTech Group with sales of approximately €100 million and 550 employees in addition to the current HF Mixing Group and HF TireTech Group units.
HF FoodTech Group will bring together machine and plant engineering for the food, feed and pharmaceutical industries.
With this spin-off, Possehl Mittelstandsbeteiligung has once again shown that it is specialized in developing smaller, medium-sized companies that can then generate synergies and cooperation potential in a larger consortium.
With the move into their new company building in Hamburg and focusing all work processes towards efficient and digital communication as well as environmentally conscious work processes, Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH is ready for the future. Engineering, technical know-how, state-of-the-art processes in manufacturing as well as established and experienced procurement, marketing and sales structures and a broad-based service network worldwide will offer synergy effects across the various industries.
Technology and knowledge transfer, as well as the use of the current network between the business units, while taking into account the specific requirements of the industries, will ensure success and support the growth of each individual business unit.
Machine engineering faces new challenges: Automation and digitalization of manufacturing processes require know-how and investment power, both of which HF offer and will be used purposefully to bolster the business units of Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH and maintain the company’s competitiveness.
The established companies, brands, contacts and contact details will remain unchanged going forward.
We look forward to the developments of the newly acquired business unit and will use the existing resources and structures to promote positive development.
